Dr. Tonye Clinton Jaja, PhD, BL
Tonye is an international Research Fellow/Legislative Drafting Lawyer and a visiting Associate Professor of Law at Law Schools where he teaches legislative drafting courses. He is an expert in Legislative Drafting, having obtained a PhD in legislative Drafting from the University of London.
He has been the Editor of the International Journal of Legislative Drafting and Law Reform since June 2012 and is published having written numerous articles and published some written works.

He possesses Legal and Practical experience in Editorial, drafting legislation, rules, regulations, or policies as a lawyer and legislative drafting expert in the following areas:
- Education-He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in legislative drafting degree obtained in the year November 2006. In addition, he was also awarded a PhD in Law (legislative drafting) by the University of London in August 2013.
- Professional Experience and extensive knowledge of constitutional law and legislative drafting– In addition to possession of academic qualifications in legislative drafting, he has garnered professional experience based on his current working experience as a Research Fellow and legislative drafting lawyer for the National Institute for Legislative Studies, an agency of Nigeria’s national parliament (National Assembly) of Nigeria since the year 2014 and has drafted numerous legislative bills as well as written papers on the subject.
He is also a lecturer of legislative drafting and works as a private legislative drafting consultant for Governments and organizations for whom he has designed and delivered legislative drafting training workshops.
